In 1996, CADSTUDIO began as a training company for architecture software. A lot has happened since then.
Most architectural offices had just transitioned from the drawing board to CAD. This transformation was generally based around AutoCAD with additional applications for architecture. The data exchange between architects and other areas of work created major challenges. With AutoCAD Architecture, Autodesk launched the industry’s first object-oriented 3D solution for the construction sector. However, the launch of Autodesk Revit Architecture changed everything. This database-oriented software fulfils the needs of architects, building services and engineering in one solution. Revit was the first software to enable interdisciplinary work with one 3D building model, creating the foundation for building information modelling. Today, planning processes, data coordination and execution planning are all carried out far more efficiently using the BIM method and Revit.
Now we are facing the next technological transformation with the multiple use of interdisciplinary information from the BIM model for cloud-based services.
The CADSTUDIO team is perfectly prepared for this process.
